Apeldoorn - Palace ‘Het Loo’ From 1686 till 1975 this was the favourite summer residence of the Dutch royal family. Since 1984 the Palace has been renovated and set up as a museum. The richly furnished rooms (large and very small) makes you feel royal yourself. The palace garden is famous because of its fountains and flowerbeds. Hoenderloo - Hoge Veluwe / Kröller-Müller Museum National Park ‘De Hoge Veluwe’ is located between Apeldoorn and Arnhem and is one of the greatest national parks in Holland. You’ll find 5.500 hectares forest, heather and fens. Together with the Kröller Müller museum and the sculpture garden this park is certainly worth your visit. You can visit this park by car, by foot as well as by bicycle (freely available in the park). |
